Terms of use.

These terms apply to morren.uk and all tools accessible through it. By using the site or any tool, you agree to these terms. They’re short and written in plain English.

Who runs this

morren.uk is operated by Mark Morren, Edinburgh, Scotland. Contact: [email protected]. This is a personal project, independent of and not affiliated with any employer.

What the tools are for

The tools on morren.uk (Visual TT, SFL Tracker, iPad Dashboard, LC Tracker, Class Points Tracker) are designed for use by school staff for legitimate professional purposes. They are free to use. You must not use them for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others.

No warranty

The tools are provided as-is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. I maintain them as a personal project alongside a full-time job. I’ll fix things when I can, but I can’t guarantee uptime or error-free operation. Don’t use any Morren tool as your sole record system for critical data.

Your data

You are responsible for the data you enter into the tools. Where a tool processes personal data about staff or pupils, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with your school’s data protection policies. See the Privacy Notice for full detail on what is collected and how it is handled.

Schools using Class Points Tracker or SFL Tracker (cloud sync)

These tools process personal data on behalf of schools, making the school the data controller under UK GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement is required before formal school deployment. Contact [email protected] to arrange this.

Intellectual property

The tools and their code are written by Mark Morren. You may use the tools freely. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell them without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

Changes

I may update these terms as the tools evolve. The date below shows the current version.
